Invites International Students and Scholars to a


 

SUNSET HIKE IN THE BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAINS

WITH BEAUTIFUL FALL COLORS

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 27 at 3:30 PM

We will meet at the UVA Chapel to coordinate rides

We will arrive back at UVA around 9:00 PM

COST OF TRIP: $3 - help with gas

We will drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway, have a moderate hike up a mountain -- there, you will witness a breath-taking 360-degree view of ridges, valleys, trees, and colorful leaves. And we will enjoy the SUNSET together in that beautiful place!

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Flashlight

  • Dinner in a bag

  • Sturdy shoes for hiking

  • Jacket to stay warm (it is colder and windier at the top of the mountain)

  • Water Bottle

  • Your camera - the view is fantastic
